ALL OUR COMPRESSORS

BAUER is known around the world for our compressors, especially in firefighting, diving, military, offshore, industrial and medical applications. When reliable, ultra-pure breathing air is required to keep life safe, turn to BAUER.

Each product within our breathing air portfolio is designed specifically for the end user application, from small mobile systems to very large stationary systems (operating in fire stations, mobile vehicles, diving operations, shipboard, offshore platforms , industrial plants and more).

Our systems can accommodate any need, from a load rate of 2.9 scfm to a load rate of 145 scfm (per compressor system), with fill pressures up to 6000 psig. Our containment SCBA/SCUBA fill stations are built to exceed current NFPA standards and include independent certification from a third-party laboratory.

VERTICAL OR PORTABLE COMPRESSOR?

Vertical or portable. How do I know which one best suits my needs?

We help you see the difference to help you decide.

These are the differences between the two types of compressors:

PORTABLE COMPRESSOR

VERTICAL COMPRESSOR

Portable compressors can be configured with electric, gasoline or diesel engines

The vertical ones only come in configurations with electric motors, within these, the open design ones only have configurations based on three-phase motors.

Portables have the versatility of being able to be transported to different locations according to the activity they are required to perform.

Regarding mobility, vertical compressors are designed for stationary environments

Portable compressors have filling capacities up to 18 SCFM in the case of DMT II

The vertical ones, although they have higher capacities, also offer this type of filling capacities with more efficient purification towers.
